The story began with a customer’s vision of creating a two-stone engagement ring—symbolizing the union of two souls—using not one, but two extraordinary lab-grown diamonds: a 5-carat emerald-shape fancy yellow lab grown diamond paired with a marquise-shaped lab grown diamond.

The combination of shapes, colors, and the desire for a contemporary yet timeless design presented an exciting opportunity to craft a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

From Vision to Design - Using CAD/CAM Technology

With a clear vision in mind, we used advanced CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) technology to create a 3D digital model of the ring. This allowed us to experiment with placement, proportions, and band details to perfectly balance the two distinctive stones.

The emerald shaped diamond, with its elongated facets and vibrant yellow color, was carefully selected for its unique brilliance and distinct shape. The marquise shaped diamond, chosen in a white color for its brilliance, provided a striking contrast to the fancy yellow diamond. Both diamonds were set side by side in prong settings designed to securely hold them while maximizing their exposure to light. The band was crafted in 14 Karat Yellow Gold, chosen for its timeless appeal and ability to enhance the brilliance of both diamonds.

With the customer’s input, we refined every detail, from the orientation of the stones to the sleek, modern setting that showcased their beauty without distraction.

From Digital Blueprint to Reality

Once the digital design was finalized and approved, it was time to bring it to life. The CAD file was used to create a precise wax model of the ring via 3D printing. This model served as the foundation for the casting process, where molten 14 Karat Yellow Gold was poured into a custom mold to form the ring.

Polishing, Stone Setting, and Final Finishing

After the casting was complete, the ring underwent meticulous hand-finishing by our master jeweler. The band was polished to a brilliant shine, and the settings were carefully adjusted to perfectly cradle the two lab-grown diamonds. The 5-carat emerald-cut fancy yellow diamond and the marquise shaped lab grown diamonds were then individually set by hand, ensuring each stone was securely positioned to maximize its sparkle and visual impact.
