The Client’s Vision
The client came to us with a clear goal: to design a name necklace that was elegant, timeless, and rich in meaning. She wanted her husband’s name crafted in solid 14K yellow gold and set with natural VS-quality diamonds to add refined sparkle without compromising sophistication. She came up with a general design of how she would like the design to look, and we helped digitally design it so she can see a preview of how it would look in reality.
Digital Design Using CAD/CAM
To ensure the final piece matched the client’s vision perfectly, we began with CAD/CAM digital design technology.
Using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), we created a precise 3D model of the name necklace. This allowed the client to:
- See the exact font style and letter proportions, as close to her original design as possible,
- Preview diamond placement and spacing
This digital preview gave the client confidence in every detail before moving into production. Any refinements were made at this stage to ensure a flawless final result.
Crafting the Necklace
Once the design was approved, the necklace was cast in 14 Karat yellow gold, chosen for its durability and classic warmth. Each natural VS-quality diamond was then hand-set by our skilled jewelers, ensuring maximum brilliance and secure placement.
The piece was finished with meticulous polishing, enhancing both the glow of the gold and the fire of the diamonds.
