The client approached us with a clear and personal idea: to create a pendant in the exact shape of Kazakhstan that represented pride, creativity, and individuality. To make the piece truly her own, he wanted his custom phrase, “MZK Artlets,” engraved directly onto the pendant. Sterling silver was chosen for its clean look, durability, and everyday wearability.
From Concept to Digital Design
To achieve precision and clarity, our design team converted the outline of Kazakhstan and the custom text into a vector-based digital file. This process allowed us to define the country’s unique borders while ensuring the lettering would engrave cleanly and remain legible over time.
The vector design enabled us to:
- Accurately capture the geographic shape of Kazakhstan
- Position the custom wording with proper balance and spacing
- Prepare the artwork for laser engraving and cutting
The client reviewed and approved the digital layout, ensuring the final pendant matched his vision before production began.
Laser Engraving and Precision Cutting
Using advanced laser engraving technology, the approved vector file was engraved onto a sheet of sterling silver. The laser then precisely cuts the outer shape of the pendant, maintaining the well-defined edges and clean detail throughout the design.
Finishing and Craftsmanship
Once cut and engraved, the pendant was hand-finished by our jewelers. The silver was polished to a smooth, refined shine, while the engraved lettering was subtly contrasted to enhance readability and visual depth.
