Using CAD/CAM Technology to Bring an Inspiration to Reality

Bringing this dream to life started with close collaboration between the customer and our expert design team. Using CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) technology, we transformed the customer’s ideas into a detailed 3D digital model. This innovative process allowed us to craft every aspect of the engagement ring and matching band with precision.

At the heart of the design was the lab-grown Alexandrite, chosen for its extraordinary ability to shift colors from deep green to vibrant red under different lighting. Surrounding the center stone were dazzling lab-grown diamonds, selected to enhance the Alexandrite’s unique brilliance. The matching wedding band was designed to fit seamlessly alongside the engagement ring, with complementary accents and contours that created a harmonious pairing.

Crafting a Masterpiece

Once the designs were finalized, the next step was turning the digital vision into reality. The CAD files were used to create wax models of both the engagement ring and the matching band through precision 3D printing. These models were then used in the casting process, where molten platinum—known for its durability and luxurious shine—was poured into molds to form the rings.

Polishing, Stone Setting, and Final Polishing

After casting, the rings underwent meticulous hand-finishing by our master jeweler. The platinum bands were polished to a mirror-like finish, and each detail was refined to perfection. The Lab-Grown Alexandrite and Lab-Grown Diamonds were then carefully set by hand, ensuring each stone was positioned to maximize its brilliance and durability.
