The client’s Chai pendant wasn’t just any piece of jewelry—it was a symbol of life, love, and spirituality, closely tied to his heritage. Losing it was a personal loss, so he sought to duplicate it exactly as he remembered, down to the finest detail. His goal was to recreate the pendant in 14 Karat Yellow Gold, maintaining both its sentimental and aesthetic value.

From Memory to Design: Recreating the Artwork

Working closely with the client, we started by gathering descriptions, memories, and old photographs of the original pendant. Every detail mattered: the size, the shape, the texture of the Chai symbol, and the way the gold caught the light.

pOnce the design was finalized, our artisans transformed the hand-drawn sketches into a vector file, an essential step in our process. The vector file ensured that the artwork was precise and scalable, allowing us to digitally replicate the intricate details of the original pendant with absolute accuracy.

The Precision of Laser Cutting

The vector file was then fed into our laser engraving machine, which translated the digital design into physical form. The machine cut the Chai symbol from a sheet of 14 Karat Yellow Gold with incredible precision, ensuring the recreated pendant retained the same dimensions and features as the one the client had lost.

Laser cutting allowed us to achieve flawless edges and immaculate detail, making the new pendant not just a duplicate but an enhanced version of the original piece.

Bringing the Pendant to Life

Once the Chai symbol was precisely cut, our master jeweler polished and refined the pendant, bringing out the natural glow of the 14 Karat Yellow Gold.
