The Client’s Request

The client, a company leader passionate about recognizing excellence, approached us with a special request. He wanted to create a custom pin to honor his top-performing employee for the year. The design needed to incorporate the company’s distinctive logo, embodying both elegance and professionalism. The chosen material for this prestigious piece was gleaming 14K yellow gold, a timeless symbol of value and success.

From Logo to Laser Precision: The Design Process

To translate the client’s vision into reality, we employed advanced design and manufacturing techniques, including vector rendering and laser engraving technology:

Vector File Creation: The company's logo, originally a standard digital image, was carefully rendered into a high-resolution vector file. This conversion ensured that every detail of the logo could be captured with precision.
Laser Engraving: Using the vector file, our laser engraving machine precisely etched the intricate logo onto a sheet of 14K yellow gold. This method allowed us to maintain sharp lines and flawless detailing.
Cutting and Shaping: The gold piece was expertly cut and shaped into the perfect pin form, ensuring both durability and elegance.

Polishing and Finishing Touches

Once the piece was cut out, it was off to the jeweler’s bench for final assembly and finishing. A solid 14K yellow gold pin was welded to the back of the pin and paired with a pin back to help complete the piece. The pin underwent a final round of polishing to ensure a high quality shine and finish.
